Press Release 25/06/2021 APC's lackluster reign incubated hoodlums, One Million boys in Oyo-PDP ...says Makinde battling to rid state of insecurity, violent groups ... 'APC should be ashamed of Ajimobi's eight year misrule' The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oyo State chapter, has blamed the last administration in the state  under the All Progressives Congress (APC) for incubating the  the violent groups that currently threatening the security of the state. The State's Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Engineer Akeem Olatunji, who stated this on Friday, said that attempts by APC chieftains to celebrate what they called the legacies of former governor Abiola Ajimobi was misplaced and unfounded.  "We have it on good authority that the current security challenges faced in the state emanate from activities of rival violence-prone groups which the APC administration of Senator Ajimobi allowed to fester, leading to the series of threats to peace and securi...

OPINION: IF THE ROAD SEEMS BLOCKED, WE CONSULT THE LAND AND CONJURE THE UNSEEN: SEYI MAKINDE ON THE RIGHT TRACK|Ogunwoye Samson People that tend to forget their culture, tradition and history are likened to a river that forgets it source or tree that neglects it root, they will both dry up. In the time of our progenitors, whenever they were amidst turbulence and get confused, they would always go back to the base and consult the divinity, that begot the popular adage that "ti oro ba ruju, aabi Ile lere ni".  The fact that we play too much in this part of the globe has made us to assume the status of Holier than the Pope. We tend to forget our past and carry our cultures with levity. In fact, we've contributed to demonization and desecration of our rich history and culture. It is truism that Pastors visit traditionalists for help, the same way Imams and Alfas go to them secretly for partnership, but yet in public,  we try to maintain the westernized opinion tha...

OPINION:THE GENTLE MAN CALLED EAGLE LIKE Governor Seyi Makinde | IJOBA AUTHORITY MOE

THE GENTLE MAN CALLED EAGLE LIKE Governor Seyi Makinde | IJOBA AUTHORITY MOE For centuries, these seemingly larger-than-life birds have fascinated and inspired us with their brilliant leadership characteristics. When eagles come to mind, people commonly imagine an enormous hunter soaring above wide-open spaces on outsized wings. Indeed, eagles are among the world’s largest birds of prey. We venerate them as living symbols of power, freedom, and transcendence. In some religions, these creatures are believed to touch the face of God. Legend holds that Mexico’s Aztec civilizations so revered the birds that they built Tenochtitlan, their capital, at the spot where an eagle perched on a cactus. For centuries, people have seen eagles as a symbol of beauty, bravery, courage, honour, pride, determination, and grace. This bird is important and symbolic to humanity because of its characteristics. Here are five important characteristics of the eagle that have been closely associated with leadersh...

Beware: Oyo State Apc's lies and crocodile tears, never fall into the traps -Yomi Ojo

It has been a tradition of the progressive party anytime they are in opposition to manipulate informations about insecurity to discredit sitting Governors especially the working and performing ones. Meanwhile, the tragic part of the progressive party and their Governments is lack of performances, they always use lies and propaganda to hijacks power but fail to perform or improve the standard of living of the citizens, these people will always refer to Lagos State as their evidence to perform but we all forgot, that Baba jakande and military Governments had developed the state being the capital of the country for so many years before Tinubu became the governor. The money generated from 1999 in Lagos State till date is more than what Kenya generated in last 30 years.  If we should compare the money generated  in the last 22 years with the developments on ground in Lagos State, we will all march to EFCC office and demand that Tinubu and co should be arrested and be le...
