It was a glamorous and a colourful event at the birthday ceremony of the newly Elected deputy National Chairman South people's Democratic Party, H.E Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja which was organised by Committee of Arapaja Friends ably led by the Chairman PCTC  Hon. Dare Adeleke.

The deputy National Chairman elect In a press release signed by his special assistant on  news media and publicity Bamitale Ibrahim made available to news men in Ibadan applauds family and friends, political associates that graced the special occasion of his 63rd birthday.

While delivering his speech, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja said he was delighted by the show of love from all critical stakeholders, party men and well wishers. 

“It's imperative I appreciate those who out of their tight schedule made it to this event” he added.

He further emphasized his sincere appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State Governor Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde for the love and supports he always enjoyed from him which he traced to Southwest Congress which was  held at Osogbo and as well as the national convention in Abuja that led to his emergency at the Deputy National Chairman South.

I am an apostle of total Absolute loyalty hence the reason I have been enjoying outstanding relationship with all our party leaders under kind supervision of His excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde.  The idea of when you are loyal to me, reciprocate same gesture is the best in our political settings. 

He added that in Politics there is nothing like 99% loyalty, it must be one hundred percent of its not even above the threshold.

Makinde being the leader of the party have done so much for me hence my resolution to forever be loyal to all his cause. Aside this, he is a man who always place premium on productivity, people and dividend of democracy. Such an individual deserves our supports.

He acknowledged al dignitaries  and former political functionaries present at the occasion for their love and supports.

He also appreciated all political office holders present in the just concluded event; this includes but not limited to Senator Kola Balogun (Senator Representing Oyo South Senatorial), Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin(MHR Ibadan SouthEast/North East federal Constituency), all South West Zonal Executives,all State Executives present, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, among others for gracing the Occasion.

He also send his words of appreciation to all political groups, the likes of Oyo state PDP media and GSM defenders led by the astute politician Engr. Akeem Olatunji for the award given to him.


He also thanked all friends, family and political associates for the love given and prayed may we all continue to excel and achieve greatness now and forever
