Akeredolu: Makinde declares three days mourning, flag to fly at half-mast Oyo State governor and vice chairman of the Nigerian Governors' Forum, 'Seyi Makinde, has declared three days of state mourning for the deceased Chairman of the South-West Governors' Forum and Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. Wariz Oladeinde, one of the teenager boys arrested over the killing of Sofiat Okeowo in Abeokuta, has been discharged by an Ogun State magistrate’s court. r Recall eaglesighttnews said that Sofiat was killed and her head cut off, burnt for money ritual in Oke Aregba area of Ogun State by her former and current boyfriends, Mustakeem Balogun and Soliu Majekodunmi. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has extended its two-month warning strike. The decision to extend the strike was made at a meeting of the union’s National Executive Council, or NEC, held Friday night in Abuja. Although the union has not made a public announcement about the meeting’s outcome, a source told Vanguard that members decided to extend the strike for another two months at the meeting, which was conducted in a secret location.
