Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State in continuation of his good governance, discloses the increment of the monthly allawance  of corps members serving in the state from 5k to 15 . This was unvield earlier on Thursday 3rd June , 2021. Information gathered on his facebook's handle reads, We visited the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Iseyin this evening. I assured the youth corps members that we would address the issues raised by the Commandant about the state of the camp. I also told them we would increase their allowance from N5,000 to N15,000.  I also shared with them how it was during my national youth service in Port-Harcourt that I got a job and met and married my lovely wife, Ominini. So, I am an example of how the national youth service could foster national integration. I wished them the best for the future.

Oyo Governor Engr Seyi Makinde Reduces LAUTECH’s Tuition Fees By 25% Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, on Tuesday June 1, 2021 has declared the 25 per cent reduction in the tuition fees of  LAUTECH students. Makinde, unvield this announcement during an impromptu  visit to the institution in Ogbomoso, he said that the reduction would cut across all students. Unknown gunmen on Monday night  has been allegedly reported to invade the residence of Professor Godswill Obioma, crushing him to death in what his wife suspected to be an assassination.
