ONE MILLION MAN MARCH - An Impactful March for Governor Seyi Makinde: Oyo State Youths March in Support of Accelerated Development

Youth voice is crucial to the overall effectiveness of service to the Nation Building, truly youth voice has a tremendous impact on program participation, program outcomes, and Development of any State.

Thousands of Oyo State Youths expressed their support, commitment and appreciation to the Governor of Oyo State.  The Youth under the umbrella of Coalition of Oyo State Youth for GSM march from the prestigious Mapo hall to Molete, Oke Ado, Oke Bola, Dugbe, Mokola, Queen Elizabeth road, Agodi gate and retire at the Government Archade where Oyo Youth had a  meaningful discussion.

A fundamental concern for others in our individual and community lives would go a long way in making the world the better place we so passionately dreamt of. Oyo State Youths acknowledged the good work of Governor Seyi Makinde on Education with the abolishment of levies in all public primary and secondary schools, upgrading of College of Education in Oyo to Degree Awarding Institution, Sole Ownership of LAUTECH. 

The coalition of Youth thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for his tremendous touch on infrastructures and how he is turning the state to construction sites. The 106 buses purchased to improve the transportation system in the state and construction of  Modern terminals which will enable Job Opportunities for Oyo State Youths, Remodelling and upgrading of seven stadium for Youth development.


A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination, Governor Seyi Makinde Administration in Oyo has been proved to the world that the Governor is a deep thinker and he has the good heart for the good people of Oyo State. Youths from the 33 local government in Oyo State made their intention known to the people of Oyo State with the Impactful March for Governor Seyi Makinde on May 29th,2021 in commemoration of his second year anniversary.
Dignatories present at the Impactful March were Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, OYRTMA Boss who led his team to the March, Mogaji Dr Akin Fagbemi, Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth, Honourable Quaseem Bolarinwa, Special  Assistant to Governor on Students, Honourable Victor Olojede, Special Assistant to Governor on Sports Development, Honourable Tobi Ojewumi, Personal Assistant to Chief of Staff, Prince Adebowale, Benedict Akika, Honourable Babajide Gabriel, Member OYHA,  Vice Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government,  Mrs.Mary Esiomor, State  PDP PRO, Engr Akeem Olatunji, Honourable Olajide Royal Umbrella, Honourable Speaker of Egbeda Local Government, Hon Oladebo Ibrahim Simple, Coalition WhatsApp group coordinators across the 33 local governments.  and many other who took their time to join the Youth in the Impactful March for GSM.

With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve. The youths in Oyo State distributes thousands of flier which documented two years achievement of Governor Seyi Makinde. PLWD,People Living with Disability, Students, Volunteers, Marketers and other various organisation of Youth joined the Coalition of Oyo State Youth for the Impactful March for GSM. 

We are formed and moulded by our thoughts. Those whose minds are shaped by selfless thoughts give joy when they speak or act. The coalition of Youth in Oyo State also received the support of all Local Government Youth Leaders across the 33 local government. 

True leaders are selfless. They have always been servants of the people first. The good work of Governor Seyi Makinde has shown to the world that the Governor is a blessing to the Pace setting State.
