E- GOVERNANCE AT ITS PEAK IN OYO STATE.
Yesterday 17th December, 2020. The Governor of Oyo State , Engr Seyi Makinde has taken another pragmatic step to move E+GOVERNANCE in the state to greater height.
In his pragmatic method of leadership, he handed over of 1,108 computer systems to be distributed to all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Oyo State, in furtherance of our e-governance plan.
The state government also provided the infrastructure to support communication between the MDAs with or without internet access.
Coupled with high speed internet and intranet connectivity across all MDAs in the secretariat, and put in place structures for the implementation of statewide productivity and collaborative tools, official emails and capacity building for all civil servants. The next step in the process of achieving our plan for e-governance is business process automation to fully automate and digitise the approval process of all government activities and make it more efficient.
