Nollywood actress, Folake Aremu who is popularly referred to as Orisabunmi, has reportedly died at age 60.The veteran Yoruba movie star from Kwara died on Tuesday night after a short illness and her death was announced by Tunde Ola-Yusuff on Facebook & Instagram. Folake Aremu became prominent in the movie industry in the 80s with the TV series “Arelu” which starred her ex-husband, and others including Fadeyi Oloro. President of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Bolaji Amusan, aka Mr Latin, also confirmed she died on Tuesday night in a message seen by Wotzupng on Wednesday morning. “She died last night sir,” Mr Latin said. “She left without a goodbye. The sudden death of Mrs Folake Aremu (ORISABUNMI) has been announced. “Really a shock on everyone. Iya Oosa, may God rest your Soul among the righteous,” Ola Yusuff wrote.
