JUST IN : CONFUSION AS BUHARI EXTENDED IGP ADAMU'S TENURE

There have been  great expectation from Nigerians  on who th next IGP would likely be , perhabs from the North, South , East or West. 

A source from a major stake holder and SAN said it is not constitutionally right for IGP Adamu to remain in office after his tenure has ended.

But the shocking of this story came out otherwise when President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu for three months.

The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi made this known while briefing State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Dingyadi said Buhari’s decision to extend the IGP’s tenure for another three months was to properly select the new helmsman.
