Breaking: Makinde’s Candidate Arapaja floors Olafeso, wins S’West PDP Chairman Election| by Obayomi

Amb Taofeek Arapaja, a former deputy governor in Oyo state and also a candidate of Governor Seyi Makinde in today’s Southwest zonal congress of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has defeated his main contender, Eddy Olafeso.

A source stated "Amb Arapaja Oladejo Taofeek of governor Seyi makinde scored 343 to defeat Eddy Olafeso of Ayodele fayose who scored 330 votes.

The atmosphere of the congress change as jubilation continues. Moderator of the congress however appreciated the synergies of everyone especially the faction of Seyi Makinde and that of Ayodele fayose. He urges all to continue embracing peace in as much they are all for the progress of the party and d of the country.

We would recalled that Seyi Makinde of Oyo state had earlier stated that " at the end of the congress, everyone is a winner, no looser". Congratulations!!
