LG POLL: OYO STATE GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED MOVEMENTS RESTRICTION FROM 6am-3pm on Saturday 22nd May, 2021.Details@Www.eaglessightnews.blogspot.com



The Government of Oyo State has announced restriction between the hours of 6am-3pm on Saturday 22nd for the LG Election Exercise.

According to the news gathered by our correspondent Obayomi, in a  statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Olubamiwo Adeosun, the State Government announced  that the restrictions has become mandatory in all the 33 LG to enhance  voters across the local governments participate  in a free and fair  election on Saturday 22,May 2021.

The restriction affects vehicles, goods;and other means of transportation to allow the movement of Oyiec officials and security  for a hitch free election this Saturday. However the movement of persons/voters accredited to vote in their nearest destinations are allow. The movement of important personels like doctors, nurses are also allow. 

The statement further read: “In furtherance of the quest for a hitch free local government election holding on Saturday, May 22, 2021, His Excellency, the Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, has ordered the restriction of movements between the hours of 6am and 3pm on the aforementioned date.

Security officials has been ordered to stop unauthorised movement of vehicles and goods in acrossthe state except for the people on important duties.

The general public has been  advised to take to the restriction order to avoid any form of arguments with security personnels.
Oyo state people have however encourage to go out to cast their votes for the candidate of their choice .
