NIPSS Lists Ibadan North, Lagelu Local Government To Benefit From Sustainable Developments Goals (SDG) in South West|Read details

 The chairman Ibadan north local government hon. Yusuf Sahib Oladayo (Agba egbe) has expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful selection of two local governments having Ibadan north local government area council and Lagelu local government as one of the selected few for SDG (sustainable developmental goals) in South-west* 

This was contianed in a press release made available through his S A on media and publicity, Bodija Akinwale.

The chairman acknowledges and appreciate the unrelenting effort of the senior Special adviser to the Oyo state government on SDGs, Hon. Kunle Yusuf (MON) to make this possible.


Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo acknowledged It is no doubt that this development will facilitate the goal-set of Ibadan north local government to implement basic amenities and infrastructures and this opportunity shall be utilized to it's maximum for the betterment of the local government.

The NIPSS is a high-level center of reflection, research, and dialogue on issues of society, particularly as they relate to Nigeria and Africa.


They conduct interdisciplinary research into the Social, Economic, Political, Security, Scientific, Cultural and other problems facing the Country, formulate and present useable policy proposals to the Federal Government and other stakeholders in Nigeria.

In line with the objectives, NIPSS is setting out to assess the implication of Sustainable Development Goals- SDGs in 12 communities selected from twelve Local Governments in six states representing each of the 6 geopolitical zones of the country, in which Oyo State is among.
