Congress: Omi Tun-Tun Doesn’t Exist In Oyo PDP – Makinde’s Aide Counters Critics

The Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on OYSIEC, Hon. Tallest Innocent has denied the allegation by aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, accusing Governor Seyi Makinde of subsuming the state party structure into his political structure, sidelining key political gladiators in the state.

 Tallest made this disclosure on Sunday in a live radio program while commenting on the fallout of the PDP congress across the 351 wards in the state. He described the assertion by some aggrieved members of the PDP that the Governor has turned the party structure in the state to his personal political movement as unfounded, “The Governor has maintained Omi run-tun movement since His days in SDP, He can not abandon his structure simply because he is the Governor of the state. The PDP still remains one big umbrella despite the perceived grievances of some of our members. There is nothing like Omi tun-tun PDP, the PDP remains PDP with properly constituted state executive leadership overseeing it’s affairs”
