Party Congress: Ibadan North Council Boss Agba Egbe, Lauds Makinde, Party Faithfuls On Successful State Congress

Agba Egbe, who participated in the exercise held at adamansigba sports complex, on Saturday, lauded the governor of oyo state, organizing committee and party members, for their all in all towards making sure the exercise was a success.

This was made known in a press release by his special assistant on media and publicity, Akinwale Bodija, today In Ibadan.


He said the large turn out for the state congress shows that the PDP is a “cohesive party, and at the topmost in the south-west”.

“All our great party members was full of excitement and oneness and this only shows that the party (PDP) is one and of the same goal, which is good governance towards the people of oyo state. We have all done well for turning out in this number to be part of the state congress. I want to specially use this medium to thank his Excellency, the executive governor of oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde for his leadership role towards making the congress, an historic one at that.

“We are members of the same family and that is why we are doing it in line with our constitution. I also want to use this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our members across the state most, especially ibadan north local government (PDP) that performed this electoral process today.

“We know that the PDP can get stronger if there is always peace and oneness among all our members.”


“I commend all our newly elected officials,” he also said, adding: “We are very lucky to have observers from other states  who witnessed the process at the state congress
