According to news gathered by our correspondent , the wife of Ibadan South West Chairman Mrs Akande on Monday 3rd , November 2021 met the leaders of the market women  at the council .

The information officer of the LG, introduced the dignitaries on the high table and the remaining participants introduced themselves one after the other.

Present at the event is Mrs sodipe Temitope Omowunmi of the department of Clinical Nursing, University Teaching Hospital who orientates the women present on the need to watch their intake ,  she talked extensively on Blood pressure, the causes and effects as well as how to prevent having it.

She said that as women,they have to check what they eat always, taking a balanced diet should be their priority,she opined that most foods we take in this part of the world is carbohydrates oriented  they should blend their food with enugh vegetables and proteinious foods

Our women must run away from depression because it leads to blood pressure too, they should take things easy and everything in life shall regulates itself.

She added that as hypertension is terrible so also is hypothension.

The LG chairma,hon Kehinde Akande said that plenty intake of water is important, because it naturally flush out toxic in the body.system.

Questions were asked after the orientation and answers were given.
