Congratulations On Your Official Inauguration As PDP National Deputy Chairman – Oyo Chapter Celebrates Arapaja

The Oyo State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the party's new National Vice Chairman (south), Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja urging the national officers to immediately hit the ground running even as the party has said that there is a lot of work to be done ahead of 2023 general elections.

The Oyo State Publicity Secretary of the party, Engr Akeem Olatunji in a press release made available to newsmen on Friday December 10 said Nigerians are daily becoming impatient for the present administration under the ruling party to end alleging that the ruling party has successfully taken Nigeria backward by over fifty years.

It would be recalled that Arapaja who is the candidate of Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde defeated former governor of Osun state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola to be elected as the new National Vice Chairman (south) on November 30 at the PDP national convention which held at the eagle square, Abuja.

The ruling party in Oyo state has expressed its confidence and faith in the political leadership, experience and exposure of Amb Arapaja in and out of government being a former federal lawmaker and deputy governor in the state, urging him to deploy what the party described as 'political arsenal alongside the new national executives Chaired by former Senate President, Iyorche Ayu, in order to return PDP back to Aso Rock come 2023.

"We as the ruling party in Oyo state are very proud of the political milestone and feat achieved by the Oyo State chapter of our great party, the PDP, especially at the national level under our dynamic and pragmatic leader, His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.

"As the ruling party in the state, our own treasure, the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde has continued to serve as a mirror through which good governance and purposeful leadership is measured in the whole of Nigeria and the responsibility this bestows upon us is that the people want and deserve sustenance of this new bliss under the PDP government.

"It is from this backdrop we urge every Nigerian especially the PDP family to give maximum support to Amb Arapaja and his colleagues at the national office as they officially take over the leadership of our party to begin carting a new course which is destined to lead us back to Aso Rock come 2023.

"Our confidence in the leadership of Amb Arapaja is total having served in the legislative arm at the national level as former member house of representatives and also in the executive arm at both state and federal levels as former deputy governor and ambassador of the federal republic.

"We assure Amb Arapaja of the maximum support of our great party in Oyo state as always because PDP at this juncture in our collective history as a nation can not afford another four years under the ruling party therefore, we urge the new national executives to hit the ground running immediately and let the journey back to Aso Rock begin." The party's statement reads.

Signed
Engr Akeem Olatunji
