Students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology were on Monday in joyous mood and laughter due to the fulfillment of *Governor Seyi Makinde’s* promise on the 25% reduction of the tuition fee of all undergraduates both indigenous and non-indigenous students.

The governor had made the promise to reduce the tuition on Tuesday 1st June 2021 during his visit to the institution. However, it was not until today which marks the beginning of the 2021/22 academic session that the reduction took an effect.

It was gathered that before the ending of 2020/21 academic session last year the present Students’ Union Government under the leadership of Adeboye Anuoluwa had assured all students of the full implementation on or before the commencement of the new 2021/22 academic session.”
