Following the coronation and installation of Senator Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan Land held on Friday 11th March, at the Mapo Hall in Oyo State, Nigerian controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has taken to her official Facebook page to felicitate the monarch on his appointment.
According to her Facebook statements has captured by eaglessightnews,

"CONGRATULATIONS TO MY NEW KING. I COULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE OLORIS👀🤣 BUT I REMAIN THE QUEEN OF SOCIAL MEDIA👸🏾

This is a 2006 photo of me and  Senator Lekan Balogun NOW Oba Lekan Balogun. I visited from America and cohosted the launching of now defunct Westerner newspaper. It was a big VIP event filled with Southwest Governors and dignitaries. The Publisher simply said he loved my accent and wanted me to co-MC.
Senator Lekan Balogun is a comedian but he doesn’t even know it. He once flirted with me at this very event. I was seated in the VIP area next to him alongside 5 governors. He asked me if I came with my husband and I told him I didn't have one. He now said he'll marry me before the event was over. I laughed it off. Imagine now I could have been a real Queen 👸🏾 😁😁😁 living in the Olubadan’s palace.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY: Never take anyone for face value. Many of you do it. What you are today does not determine what you are tomorrow. After 36 years waiting, Congratulations to the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan 79yo Kabiyesi Oba Lekan Balogun and Olori Agba Queen Mrs Yinka Balogun 👑
I will come for that 80th birthday 🥳
